Angel Ukwishaka

Angel is a passionate advocate for adolescent and young women's health, particularly reproductive health and gender equality. Her journey began with a biomedical science degree and was fueled by trainings on adolescent justice, teenage pregnancy, and abortion legalization. This led to a Master's in Global Health Delivery from the University of Global Health Equity focusing on gender and sexual reproductive health.
Currently, as Head of Research and Advocacy at AfriYAN Rwanda, Angel shapes policies and initiatives that prioritize adolescent and young people's needs. Her unwavering dedication and belief in the power of small actions drive her to create a healthier, more equitable future for all.
